Jennifer Marron

Director of Policy and Engagement

Jenny Marron leads policy impact and strategic engagement at the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS). In this role, she works to translate IAPS research into practical guidance, supporting government, industry, and civil society as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of emerging AI technologies. With a strong background in foreign policy, national security, and international development, Jenny most recently led advocacy on development and humanitarian assistance at InterAction, a coalition of nearly 200 NGOs.

Jenny previously served at the White House National Security Council (NSC) and held senior roles within the Department of State, where she directed teams focused on violence mitigation, peace processes, and the application of data analysis to monitor global instability. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
